Life Update - 4/13/26

I have decided that I am going to use this blog in earnest for what it is intended for: to document my life and post little updates on what I'm doing.

I have left my retail job and am putting all my newfound energy and time into my work. I have started an Etsy store even, and while it is still in its infancy I am hopeful in its success. I have not felt such an overwhelming surge of inspiration and creative force for a long while. It is exciting. Nerve wracking but exciting. I have much planned in the way of projects, be it personal, future sale items, or commissions. There is much to do and yet never enough time in a single day.

I am still applying to other positions but in the meantime I am chasing my passion with renewed vigor.

I have also been toying with the idea of posting some of my written work here to showcase as well. I am primarily a visual artist but writing is another artistic medium I dabble in. It has been a while since I've had so much time and what better way to use it than to write. I've even been considering going down the publishing route once I have enough work to substantiate a book. I will likely publish a poetry collection first as those are much shorter than typical novels and I already have a lot of poems written.

This concludes my first life update. I do not know what my future path looks like but I am excited for it to unfold.
